Voluntary, Fixed Term – March 2016 (2 Seasons)
Scottish Rugby is now looking to fill the following key positions within Caledonia’s Age Grade Programme:
Caledonia Regional Age Grade HEAD COACH (U16)
Working as part of a Coaching Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued development of all
players involved in the BT Sport Academy – U16 Caledonia Program. To be considered for any of the above
role, you must ideally hold the UKCC Level 3 or equivalent qualification or actively seeking to attain this; have a
track record of developing talented age grade players and proven coaching success within an appropriate
competition.

Purpose of Job
To identify, select and coach players with potential to perform within a Regional U16 Squad as part of the
National Player Pathway Program. To plan and deliver an agreed number of preparation squad sessions
leading a Coaching Team. On conclusion of the programme provide all players with accurate reports on their
performance.

Successful track record developing age-grade players.
Experience of identifying and developing individual player development.
Knowledge and understanding of Rugby Union and the Development of Team Performance.
Track record of success in previous relevant coaching roles, including within your area of expertise.
IT skills & experience, including the use of video analysis systems
Confident in presenting to all levels of audience.
Track record of developing relationships and working effectively with stakeholders
