master data from dynamic views layered over the Operational Data Store (ODS) and transaction
data from the Landing Area (both of which ultimately source from SAP). After the Jan-2012 go-live,

ATLANTIS: Symantec consumer data is scattered among various different distributed and unrelated
data sources. Symantec is unable to conduct timely sales and marketing campaigns without reliable
and responsive access to integrated consumer data. Consumer privacy data must be used in building
campaign lists within the allowable limits for latency. No audit trail exists for changes to privacy
data, which gives Symantec legal exposure.
E-PAYMENT: The e-Payment project provides an enhanced strategic platform for Finance to support
business rules related to payment processing and financial reconciliation across consumer payment
types. E-Payment is intended to be used as a service for any “Storefront” requiring this type of
payment processing. It will also provide enhanced business facing functionality for chargeback
management, payment matching management and improved reporting. The reporting track will
provide reports that will enable to monitor the Reconciliation process for the AR and Tax teams,
Trade compliance monitoring and regulatory reports for GOS and Trade compliance, Chargeback
monitoring reports for Payment and Risks groups.
