Office Management
With an average of 42 regional and international staff working in the Damazin and Kurmuk
offices duties include that everything from office supplies provision, food provision and
accommodation is prepared in a timely and appropriate manner.
Fleet management
In consultation with Programme managers I am responsible for meeting their transport needs to
ensure the effective running of all programs.
I must ensure that the fuel consumption is recorded and calculated according to the logistics
manual.
I am responsible of vehicles maintenances, service and spare parts.
Security
I have to ensure that all our communications equipment (Codan radio, Thuraya, and internet) is
running effectively and maintained according to the logistics manual. For security purposes I

have to ensure that personnel are not going into the field without an effective method of
communication and that radio checks at agreed intervals are adhered to.
Warehouse Management & Asset Inventory
I am responsible for the day to day management of all IRC’s Warehouses and Asset inventory in
head Office and sub Offices as per the logistics manual ,procedures of safety, security,
accountability and transparency.
Procurement
In consultation with all Programme managers I have sole responsibility of ensuring that the
procurement needs of the programs are being met in a timely and cost effective manner as per the
logistics manual and donor requirements.
I have to ensure all medical equipments, NFI are procured and delivered to field sites.
I am responsible of ensuring distribution of medical equipments, NFI and emergency materials to
beneficiaries as planned.
Finance
I am solely responsible for ensuring that all the funds required for procurement is available.
I cover all the programs financial needs when the finance officer is not available.
Personnel
I am responsible for the hiring of local staff and for training and building the capacity of local
staff in procedures, systems and management. I have to ensure that staff’s appraisals are carried
out as per the HR Manual.
Administration
I am responsible for the administration of IRC office daily activities.
Cover all office administration (in-out) documentation and filing system.
Weekly office meetings preparations (meeting room, stationary, media, refreshment, agenda and
writing the minutes of the meetings).
Responsible of issuing - receiving letters, invitations and planning for meetings with various
partners.
