REQUEST FOR CVs (CONSULTANT SERVICES) Republic of Kosova Financial Sector Technical Assistant Project Financial Sector Grant No. H341-KOS Project ID No. P108080 Consulting Services for Integrated Risk Management Training Association of Microfinance Institutions of Kosovo (AMIK) received financing from the World Bank (International Development Association) toward the cost of the Financial Sector Technical Assistant Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include training on Integrated Risk Management in order to strengthen the capacity of the members of Association of Microfinance Institutions of Kosovo to further develop their management skills. The individual consultant’s main tasks will be as follows: Deliver the training “Integrated Risk Management” to MFI staff; Develop training materials for future trainings on these topics. The individual consultant should have advanced qualifications in the field of business administration, or public relations, supplemented by supporting education in banking, and demonstrated experience with training programmes. The candidates are required to submit their CVs showing evidence of relevant experience and qualifications. Professional experience: • International or Local trainer • Have at least 10 years professional training experience • Be a training specialist whose seniority/expertise in his/her field is beyond any doubt. Note: the tender evaluation process will specifically evaluate the technical qualification of the trainers. • Have experience in executive training or the transfer of knowledge. • Experience in working in transitional countries in SEE countries. Experience in Balkans would be an asset. • Experience in the microfinance sector would be an asset. • Proficiency in written and spoken English. The following evaluation criteria will be used for this assignment: 1. Specific knowledge for the assignment 60 points - Experience of candidate on Risk Management related topics 30 points - General experience of candidate in know-how transfer / executive training 30 points 2. General qualification for the assignment 40 points - University/academic background of the candidate 10 points - Professional experience of candidate (training, microfinance, transition economies) 30 points Total 100 points The individual consultants interested in the assignment shall submit their CVs, on which basis the best candidate (i.e. the most qualified/experienced consultant) will be selected. The level of efforts required for this assignment is 4 working days maximum. The project should be completed by March 2012. The contract will come in to effect with the signature of both parties.
