Minutes for Brooktree HOA meeting – Wednesday March 25, 6:40 pm at First Bank of Missouri on
Antioch.
Approve the February meeting minutes –Warren motioned, Theo second, all approved. Kevin to file
and Russell to post
Social-Theo-present
-New resident information – Sara West 4001 NE 59th Street and Cecil & Angela Scearcy 5816 N
Norton. Both have closed. She has left flyers on new addresses that she has baskets for them.
-Has Zoomobile been booked for opening party? Booked from 12:00-5:00
-Details for Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 4. Time to assemble? 12:30
Pool-Warren-present
-After discussion with NPM on liner replacement, we have been advised to wait and do entire liner
renovation at once instead of in stages. We will continue to save our money until we can do it all at
once. Hopefully start in the fall of 2015. We will be vigilant in cutting costs this year to save $.
-post pool rules throughout the facility at opening. Laminate copies for bathrooms and shack.
-update on camera install. Has Lee Caven started on the electrical upgrade? Will contact
-Any info on wifi at the pool?no updates Did you procure a bid from AT&T? 59.99 per month. This
might be useful to monitor the cameras. All agreed to wait and save money for liner upgrades
Water will be turned on April 1st
Recreation- James-present
-Trash is full again.-will get dumpted
-Volleyball net install date-will get w/Warren
-Pop machine repairs update-still need to pull. Has called company and no return calls
-Entire rec area (and tennis) and equipment needs to be inspected for the season. Recommend any
repairs. Form a team for extra eyes. Who wants to help? Kevin will help
Website- Russell-not present
-Domain expires 6/25/15. Russell will advise on the renewal and keep the HOA domain protected.
-Pool rules have been updated on the website. Any suggestions for the front page?
Facilities-Keel-present
-present trash bid and vote. Obtained bid from Town and Country and Republic. Town and country
will not pick up twice per week. Republic will pick up twice a week. 101.58 p/month and a 38.82 one
time start up fee. Keel motioned, James second, all approved. Keel will schedule dumpster to be
dropped off April 1 and pick up service to start May 1.
-bids for fencing around dumpster corral. Can we repair broken slats with wood at Warren’s? Warren
will take a look and see what the minimum that we need to do to get by for the year.
-Trailer still present on Appletree Lane. Callicoat trailer still present? He keeps moving it around his
lot-Keel will address
-Member complaint regarding state of Ra Tran’s lot- yard appears to be cleaned up and as far as DD
knows no multiple families living there. She will get with them to confirm.
-Treasurer-Rosetta-not present but Kelly
-Beck, Gormly, Rodriguez (Bank of America), Kufeldt, Didomizio and Ott are current liens.
-2nd half of dues billing is April 1. Due April 30.
38k outstanding to be bill April 1st.
Secretary-Kevin-present
-Babble will go out this weekend. Make sure all dates jive with website. Maybe add the links for
Gladstone trash days on front page?
- Update on signs for cameras-not addressed yet, will get addressed

-Will get with Jeanine about Garage Sale ads
-Directory update-no update yet. Has been trying to coordinate w/Eric

New Business-Relay results from Neighborhood Forum held at City Hall –some neighborhoods have activities such
as:
Yard of the Month
Pie backing contest
Adopt a Family
Community Garage sale to fund neighborhood functions/needs
-New walking path proposed by Gladstone parks & rec-there is a master planned being proposed for a
walking/biking path down the middle of Rock Creek(through Brooktree). No details yet but DD will
keep the neighborhood informed of any details and meetings regarding this so our voice can be heard.
-Private security option-Carriage Hills has private security firm that monitors the neighborhood. Will
see what costs are involved to add Brooktree to the service.
-code sweep being done by the City-City will be doing a code sweep to make sure members in
compliance.
Old Business & Annual meeting items
-2 pool lights on west side and electric box on west side need repair. Contact NPM.
-gate for the parking lot
