AFTER THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR THEORY WORK THEY WILL BE TAKEN OFF THE LAB FLOOR TO PREPARE FOR STATE BOARDS. CLASS POLICY: 1. LEARNERS SHOULD HAVE ALL THEIR BOOKS, PAPER AND PENS BEFORE CLASS STARTS. 2. LEARNERS SHOULD GO TO THE RESTROOM BEFORE CLASS. 3. CELL PHONES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE CLASSROOM AND ON THE LAB FLOOR. 4. LEARNERS WILL NOT BE EXCUSED FOR PHONE CALLS, UNLESS THERE IS AN EMERGENCY. 5. LEARNERS WHO ARE WORKING THE FRONT DESK SHOULD TAKE A MESSAGE IF THE LEARNER IS IN CLASS. 6. COMPUTER WORK SHOULD BE RELATED TO COSMETOLOGY ONLY, GAMES ARE NOT ALLOWED. 7. LEARNERS WHO CAUSE TROUBLE OR WHO ARE DISRUPTIVE IN THE PROGRAM WILL BE GIVEN A THREE DAY SUSPENSION FROM CLASS, IF THIS TROUBLE CONTINUES THE LEARNER WILL BE ASK TO LEAVE THE PROGRAM. 8. LEARNERS ARE EXPECTED TO ENTER SCHOOL EVERY MORNING LOOKING PROFESSIONAL, WHICH INCLUDES A CLEAN UNIFORM, LAB COAT AND NAME TAG, AND HAIR AND MAKE-UP DONE. INTERACTIONS WITH STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND CLIENTS WILL BE MONITORED AND GRADED. 9. LEARNERS WHO REFUSE ASSIGNED CLIENTS WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN OUT FOR THE DAY, DURING THIS ABSENCE NO TESTS OR EVALUATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE MADE UP. 10.
