Confidentiality Statement
I,
, promise to hold in confidence all matters that
come to my attention in my role as a peer leader in the Leadership and Peer Support
course at Sir Robert Borden High School.
1. This includes but is not limited to:
 Matters concerning SRB students
 Matters concerning SRB staff
 Matters concerning SRB Secondary School
2. This promise of confidentiality is null and void if a student or staff:
 Is a danger to themselves
 Is a danger to others
 Is concerned in an issue of child abuse
If such a case arises, where a student or staff member is in danger as described in
section two above, I will immediately notify my Peer Leadership Teacher.
I further understand that any unwarranted breach of confidentiality on my part will
seriously compromise my standing as a student in the Leadership and Peer Support
course.
