No other equipment manufacturer shall be accepted. Provide the following: One (1) Dissolved Oxygen Meter and Mixed Liquid Suspended Solids Meter WATER QUALITY MONITORS, DISSOLVED OXYGEN & MLSS METER A. The dissolved oxygen meter shall continuously analyze a sample using polarographic OR galvanic methods and produce a voltage proportional to the dissolved oxygen in the sample. The analyzer shall provide automatic ranging for 0-10 mg/l of the dissolved oxygen in water and 0-130% saturation, within +/- 1% of saturation. The microprocessor-based meter shall display the dissolved oxygen concentration in milligrams per liter or % saturation. B. The dissolved oxygen meter shall contain a removable cell assembly with a permanently sealed PTFE membrane. The cell shall be automatically temperature compensated from 32 degrees F to 120 degrees F (0 degrees C to 50 degrees C) with a thermistor. The cell shall be mounted 90 degrees from the tip of the sensor with its sensing face perpendicular to the axis of the mounting pole (side facing). C. The Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) sensor shall be incorporated into the DO measuring head or supplied as a separate sensor per the application requirements. The MLSS sensor shall be comprised of an IR emitter pair and 1 detector mounted 90 degrees from the tip of the sensor with its sensing face perpendicular to the axis of the mounting pole (side facing). D. The MLSS range shall be 0-15,000 mg/l E. The electronic unit shall be capable of simultaneously monitoring two (2) independent sensor assemblies, or a single combined DO/MLSS assembly. F. The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter shall be a microprocessor-based instrument with a 2-line 40-character backlit display housed in an IP67 / NEMA 4X electronics enclosure. Display resolution shall be 0.01 mg/l. The analyzer shall provide time and date stamped data logging of up to 100 events and trending for up to 8 days. G. The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter shall incorporate automatic self-cleaning accomplished by the automatic passing of an annular brush over the sensor in-situ. Outputs shall be held at the last reading during the self-cleaning cycle. Self-cleaning shall be software initiated and performed with no user action required. -1- 223.2005.0 H. The dissolved oxygen meter shall incorporate automatic self-calibration accomplished by passing a calibrations shroud over the sensor and filling the shroud with air, to establish a saturated air environment or an in-situ high point calibration. Prior to each calibration cycle, the sensor shall be automatically selfcleaned by passing an annular brush over the sensor. Automatic self-calibration shall be software initiated and performed with no user action required. I. The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter shall provide on-screen instruction and self-diagnostics. All user controls shall be provided through a local 16-button numeric membrane keypad on the display face. J. Electrical. 1. The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter shall include four (4) adjustable relays that are independently configurable. The analyzer shall include settings to allow signaling of normal (healthy) operation, instrument in calibration mode and High, Low, zoned and grouped alarms. Alarm contacts shall be rated 1A at 250 Vac, resistive load. Relays shall each have an individual LED to indicate relay output status. 2. The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter input power shall be field selectable for 120 or 240 VAC 50/60Hz The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter shall provide four (4) isolated 4-20 mAdc or into a maximum of 1000 ohms. The analyzer shall have RS232 communication capabilities standard and RS422/485 as an option. 3. The dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter shall include the following accessories: Integral air compressor when site air is not available Sensor assembly installation kit including air tubing, mounting bracket, and 2.5 meter extension pole 4. The following dissolved oxygen/MLSS meter spare parts shall be included: a. One (1) spare cell assembly. b. One (1) spare annular brush. K.
