Purpose:
To provide instructions for communicating to internal and external clients.
Responsibility:
Administrative Director/Manager/Charge technologist.

Microbiologist-in-chief, Deputy Microbiologist or Administrative Director
signs off on the communication.
All communications to UHN clients are to be sent to the UHN Client Service
Manager Chris Cursio – chris.cursio@uhn.on.ca
The UHN client service manager will broadcast the communication:
a) To UHN users by the Lab Update through the Office of the Vice
President, Medical Affairs at UHN.
b) To UHN client hospitals through the Client Newsletter
Communications to all users in MSH can be sent through MSH Intranet site:
 Click “Resource@work” tab
 Click “Communication Tools”
 Click “Communications and Marketing Tool Kit”
 Click “All Staff e-mail”
 Fill All Staff e-mail form
 Press “Submit” button when done
All communications to MSH clients are to be sent directly to the contact
person(s) as listed in the chart on the next page (List of external clients)
