Supervisor POSITION DESCRIPTION REPORTS TO: Shift Manager SCOPE OF POSITION: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Casino Cage, Main Bank and Vault and the automated redemption machines (Kiosks) during the assigned shift. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are examples only and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive; other duties may be assigned as necessary. Performs all functions in accordance with applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures. Ensures the highest possible standards of guest service are provided and listens and responds to guest and employee concerns and questions. Ensures that cage, main bank, vault and kiosks are operated in accordance with company policy. Monitors the performance of Cage employees: Cage Supervisors, Cage Cashiers and Main Bankers. Supervision of assigned shift and reports all employee issues and concerns to the Cage Manager Carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with company policy. Handle problems or grievances (employees/guests) as soon as the need arises within the Cage department. Coordinates and communicates policies and procedures to cage personnel. Responsible to ensure the Kiosks are operational, and to ensure service arrangements are made when necessary. Oversees assigned shift’s paperwork and conducts investigation of variances that may occur on assigned shift and reports these to Manager Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of shift end inventory counts for the casino cage, main bank and Kiosks (at least once daily for kiosks). Page 1 of 3 Supervisor POSITION DESCRIPTION Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of shift end summarization of shift activities on the cage summary count sheets, including the reconciliation of shift paperwork to shift end inventory counts. Responsible for accurate entry of all cage and vault transactions into the computerized Casino Facts system by the end of their shift. Responsible for ensuring entry of all EGD payouts into the computerized EGD accounting system. Ensures the Kiosks are dropped and balanced at least one time each day, and that this effort is recorded on Kiosk-generated reports, EZ-Pay generated reports and balanced to cage records. Verifies jackpots payouts as an “independent department manager” if requested by operations team to assist with this function. Will act as a main banker, vault banker or cashier as needed. Assist in scheduling and performance reviews of cage personnel. Attends, and satisfactorily completes all required training as assigned and required. Performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates 10 Key adding machine proficiency. Excellent inter-personal skills. Ability to handle unhappy guests in a professional manner. Previous casino cage experience. Demonstrates computer application skills; Word, Excel. Page 2 of 3 Supervisor POSITION DESCRIPTION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises day-to-day activities; provides training, planning, assigning and directing work; appraise performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; and addresses complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma/GED Two to four (2-4) years’ main banker experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with numbers and infer their meaning. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent English oral and written skills Excellent Spanish oral skill Ability to read and understand complex reports and governmental regulations written in English. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from guests with tact. EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION: Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States. Required to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the KTTT Gaming Commission. It is the responsibility of the employee to keep all documents current and valid at all times. Kickapoo Tribe or other Tribal preference preferred. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis; Ability to work for extended periods in an office under artificial fluorescent lighting with varying noise levels and in a smoke filled environment. Must be able to perform under pressure, concentrate for a prolonged periods and able to work long hours under stressful conditions. Specific vision abilities include the ability to adjust vision.
