POSITION:
REVENUE AUDITOR
LICENSED: Yes
DEPARTMENT:
Accounting Department
GRADE: 7
REPORTS TO:
Controller
STATUS: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
Is responsible for the audit and reconciliation of the paperwork of the casinos.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Audits daily cage paperwork from Bay Mills Resort & Casino and King’s Club
Casino. It includes:
a. American and Canadian reconciliation
b. Verifies checks and keno payouts
c. Canadian exchange
d. Gift certificates
e. IRS withholding
f. Table Games
2. Performs slot payouts and fills and table credits and fills.
3. Verifies Chip Bank inventory daily for American and Canadian Chips.
4. Calculates “over and shorts” and reports them to the Cage Director, Internal Auditor,
and Controller.
5. Reconciles all cage paperwork for both casinos.
6. Performs the following reports daily:
a. Slot Machine
b. Accounting/Player Tracking System
c. EZ Pay
d. Kiosk
e. Soft Count Report
f. Hard Count Report
g. Variance Report
7. Plans and conducts audits of data processing systems and applications to safeguard
assets.
8. Ensures accuracy of data, and promotes operational efficiency.
9. Writes audit reports to document findings and recommendations, using computer.
10. Responsible for sorting daily resort paperwork, and the daily reconciliation of
redeemed coupons and comp tickets.
11. Other duties as assigned within the scope and complexity of this position’s essential
functions.
12. Must attend all mandatory trainings designated by the Human Resources Department
and/or Department Director, including Title 31.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit with
occasional walking and standing. Occasionally the employee must bend, squat, kneel,
and push/pull. The employee must occasionally carry up to 25 pounds with occasionally
lifting up to 10 pounds. The employee must be able to use both hands for repetitive
action such as simple grasping. The employee is regularly exposed to heights, moving
machinery, driving automotive equipment, marked changes in temperature and humidity,
dust, fumes, and gases.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. At least six months experience in a similar position required.
3. Excellent math and auditing skills required.
4. Knowledge of accounting procedures and basic computer skills preferred.
5. Past casino experience (cage, gaming, count team, etc) experience helpful.
6. Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Bay Mills Gaming Commission
and maintain eligibility throughout employment.
7. Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance and speak, understand, and
write in the English language.
8. Must posses a personable, customer service attitude along with organizational ability
to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Excellent communication skills required.
10. Must have and excellent past work and attendance record, as evident through
references and background checks.
11. Must be willing to work flexible shifts; such as weekends and holidays.
12. To perform this position successfully, and individual must be able to satisfactorily
perform each function listed under the essential functions and physical demands
categories of this position description.

Preference will be given to those of Native American descent.
