Alphabetize the Works Cited list by author’s last name or by title if author is not given. Examples below:

Book with no author:

The New Zealand Official Year Book. 12 ed.

Wellington: Government Printer, 1987.

Article in a magazine or journal:

Klesius, Michael. “The state of the Planet.” National

Encyclopedia article:

“Brazil.” Encyclopedia Britannica: Macropaedia. 15 th

ed. 1999.

Two or three authors:

Chier, Ruth and Sheryl Smith. Danger: Tobacco.
