Welcome to Website Without Worry and Your “Kick Start” Exercise!
I’m so excited to have you joining me in the course, and can’t wait to get started with
you! I know that some of you may already have a website and are just looking to improve
it and make it more effective; and I know some of you may be starting from scratch
without a site at all. Either way, this worksheet will help inspire you and help you to get
the most out of the course.
Take some quiet time to fill this out before the official start of the program on March 3. I
won’t be “collecting” this from you, but I’d love to hear what came up for you as a result
of completing this in our Facebook group, so please feel free to share!
----------1. If you have a site already, are you clear on what the GOALS of your website are? If you don’t
have one yet, give some thought as to what you would like them to be. List your top 5 below in
order:

2. If you already have a site, take an honest look at it—does your current strategy line up with
the above goals? Does your content line up with your goals? If you don’t yet have a site, do some
brainstorming about how you could use your future site to achieve your top goals. Give your
assessment below:
3. Having a site that connects and converts are the keys to more clients, customers and sales.
Give some thought to the questions below. Your answers will help bring more clarity and focus
to your website strategy.
1) How exactly do I help people in my business and who is it that I help?
2) Do I have a compelling marketing message? What is it?
4. A great starting point for making your site a client-focused marketing vehicle that will help
your ideal prospects self-select and pre-qualify themselves is to use “pull” marketing questions.
What questions would PULL your ideal prospects to you in light of their biggest pain points and
struggles? Keep it to 3 or 4 for best results. You want them to answer “yes” to all of the
questions! For example:
Are you feeling stuck because…
Do you struggle with…
Do you just wish you could…
Is it a challenge for you to…

Circle the 3 or 4 questions that you wrote that would be most compelling to your ideal prospects.
(A great place for these questions is your Home page.)
5. Give some thought to the layout of your site. If you don’t have a site yet, what pages will you
likely include? (Don’t worry, you can begin with just a couple and add on more later!) If you
already have a site, what other pages could you add? Examples of pages include About, Services,
Contact, Products, Testimonials, Speaking, Blog, etc.
