B. We’ll take breaths in a few different places than the recording. In general,
breathe where marked or where there is punctuation. The exceptions:
1. No breath between mm. 11 and 12
2. No breath between mm. 16 and 17
3. No breath between mm. 29 and 30
4. No breath between mm. 33 and 34
5. Connect mm. 50 to 53
-at m. 53, tenors breathe on beat 2+ while SAB breathe on beat 3
6. Breathe before “Just” in m. 55
7. No breath (tenors) after “years” in m. 60

Breaths should occur at punctuation in the text (stagger the breath where
needed; please assign these breaths prior to arrival at first group rehearsal)

A. Divisi parts should be handled as follows:
Descant: only a few soprano voices
A and A2: equal split of alto voices (see note below for measure 30)
B. Change the pitches in the following measures:
 9 - SAB voices: change "C#" to an "E"
 17 - SB voices: change "C#" to an "E"


19, 23, 27, 31, 35 - Baritones (part B): change "low C#" to an "E"
30 through 38: Part B2 should be sung only by those singing A2 (an
octave higher than notated)
 33, 37 - A2 voices (singing Part B2): change "C#" to an "E"
 47 - SAB voices: change "D" to an "F"

D. Cajon part is notated in score. The cajon used in the recording is the “Jingle
Cajon” (made by Pearl).
