Dear Seniors:
It is a privilege for me to recognize you for your outstanding
academic achievements this year. You are being honored tonight as
the best of our senior class. You have dedicated yourself to your
academic career, and we want to honor you for your hard work.
We, as a community—your parents, teachers and school
administrators—are very proud of all you have accomplished in your
academic tenure with Hamilton County Schools. I know you have
been given tremendous help, encouragement and guidance by your
teachers, administrators and parents throughout your academic career.
Thank you to everyone who has sacrificed and worked to help these
young people achieve so much. Without you and your support, their
achievements would not be so grand.
Students – you are the future of this community and your
accomplishments in high school will serve you well as you build on
the foundation of your education at Hamilton County Schools. I
know you will go far in your future endeavors, and we hope that your
path will lead you back to Hamilton County.
In your awards packet, you will find a certificate affording you the
opportunity to return to Hamilton County Schools as a teacher, upon
completion of college and all the requirements for holding a
Tennessee teaching license. We see the future of our community
shining brightly in you, and we hope you will share a bit of that light
with us and our youth. You are all that we strive to find in a quality
teacher, and we hope you will consider this offer as you complete
your education and consider future challenges.
