A division of Close Brothers. Consists of Private Client Fund
Management, Specialist funds, Offshore and Trust business.
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to Maximise the potential from an agreed
database of clients and prospects to achieve key performance targets
across all product and proposition streams utilising any agreed company
initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities

Contribute to the Desk Based Sales Team’s sales and target
expectations by achieving individual sales targets and objectives,
across the agreed product range and propositions.

Gain client commitment using the Close AM desk based sales
process, which identifies business opportunities and documents
agreed actions.

Maintain a high degree of contact with clients via the telephone in
line with agreed measurable activity i.e. hours of talk time per day
to increase over prescribed period agreed with Desk Based Sales
Manager.

In conjunction with the Sales Manager or specialist, plan and
implement bespoke campaigns, sales and marketing initiatives to
fully maximise business potential from an agreed client bank.

Contribute to the overall data cleanse and control of the central
database by way of appropriate information gathering from clients
in line with Data Protection legislation.

Adhere to all Close AM policies and procedures including Treating
Customer Fairly. All business produced via desk based sales to
be in accordance with the business procedures document.

Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant products,
propositions and legislative requirements, both current and in the
future.

Demonstrate a commitment to personal development through the
enrolment on internal or external training programmes.

Proactively support the use of technology including the
submission of E commerce and self-service business to all clients.
Also ensure all technological solutions for Management
Information are fully utilised. Solutions to include CCD, Dynamic
Planner and Financial Express.

Maintain an awareness of market trends and competitors to
identify business opportunities, proactively feeding back to the
Desk Based Sales Manager.


The consultant is responsible for highlighting any panel or Group
Research changes, by completing the relevant document and
forwarding onto their Sales Manager.
Use appropriate interpersonal styles, innovation and communication
methods to gain acceptance, of an idea plan, activity, service or
product.
Key behaviour of appropriate selling technique to overcome resistance
and or objections, ability to highlight benefits of products and services
to achieve goals.
Is able to communicate and express ideas both in oral and written
effectively to an individual or group, adjusting language and
terminology to fit the needs of the audience.
Exhibits active listening skills to answer question clearly and concisely,
and confirms audience understanding and learning.
Gains commitment from client on the telephone
Can plan and organise diary effectively and set realistic time scales.
