Jitender Antil @ Meena s/o Suraj Bhan r/o village- Kheweda, PS Rai, Sonepat, Haryana (Age- 22 years), The Outer District Police has succeeded in solving the sensational day light daredevil attack on Jail van at Jhajjar-Gurgaon Road on 10-03-2012 killing three under trials – Sri Bhagwan, Dilbagh and Anil Fauji. Two other under trials and two police personnel also sustained injuries in this incident. INCIDENTS/TEAM/ INVESTIGATION: The Outer District in the recent past has witnessed a number of incidents of car jacking and robbery of cash. To solve these incidents several teams of the District police were constituted to develop information, identify criminals and arrest them. In this process Inspr. Jai Prakash (SHO/Rohini South) and his team, who were working ceaselessly on specific input, intercepted a suspicious person, who was later on identified Mohit, R/o Delhi on 12-03-2012. On his sustained interrogation, he disclosed that he was part of the gang, which was involved in the recent incident of attack on Haryana Prison Jail Van transporting under trials on Gurgaon-Jhajjar Road on 10-03-2012. Accordingly he was arrested. He further disclosed that some of his associates are likely to go towards Bawana to meet one of their associate Sandeep Kala and may commit some crime and they will be passing through Rohini. On this specific information, Police teams under the supervision of Shri Ved Prakash (ACP/Rohini, Outer District), Inspr. Puran Pant, Inspr. Jai Prakash with other officials laid a trap on service road near Fish Market behind Jaipur Golden Road, Sector-3, Rohini. At about 11.15 AM, two cars were seen coming from Outer Ring Road. On being signaled to stop, the drivers of the vehicles tried to take ‘U’-turn but could not succeed as the police teams had already covered all the escape routes. All the occupants were directed to come out for checking. But instead of surrendering the occupants hurriedly came out of the vehicles and some of them took out their weapons and fired on the police party to escape, but the police party also fired in defence and acted bravely and overpowered all the six persons. On their interrogation, their names were found to be as 1. Sonu @ Jai Bhagwan (Age-25 Years), 2. Raju @ Raj Kuamr (Age- 27 years), 3. Sanjay @ Painter (Age- 25 years), 4. Satish, 5. Rohtash @ Ved Pal (Age- 26 years) and 6. Jitender Antil @ Meena (Age- 22 years). On sustained interrogation, they revealed that they are members of Anil Lila – Sandeep @ Kala Gang. They have confessed to have been involved in Jail Van attack case of 10-03-2012 at Jhajjar-Gurgaon Road. They further disclosed the names of their remaining wanted gang members, who were also involved in the Jail Van attack case. Their names are: (1) Sandeep @ Kala, (2) Naresh Sethi, (3) Surender @ Sunder @ Chitta, (4) Sunny, (5) Bijender Bora, 6) Pawan, (7) Navratan @ Kala and (8) Jeet @ Chor. Three sophisticated pistols were recovered from their possession and total 12 live cartridges were recovered. The Santro Car (No.DL-9C-AD-1173) in which they were moving/occupying was robbed vide FIR No. 37/12, PS Begum Pur, Delhi and the other Car (I-10, No.DL-1YC-3363) was found to be robbed vide FIR No. 37/12, PS Pataudi, Gurgaon, Haryana. Accordingly case FIR No. 53/12 dated 12.03.12, u/s 186/353/307/411/482/34 IPC & 25/27/54/59 - Arms Act PS South Rohini, Delhi was got registered and investigation was taken up. In the meantime, one white colour Santro car was found lying abandoned near M.B. Hospital, Pooth Khurd in the area of Police Station - Bawana. In the car two weapons – an INSAS rifle and a carbine along with ammunition – were found. These weapons were looted from the Police Escort of the Haryana Jail Van, which was attacked in Jhajjar area. Further it has been found that this car was robbed by members of this gang from Narela area 09-03-2012. During interrogation of the above arrested criminals, it was found that the car in question was being driven by Sandeep @ Kala and he was carrying weapon in the car. The recovery of the car and weapon indicates that the accused Sandeep @ Kala had abandoned this car. During interrogation, it has been revealed that these criminals were involved in five case of car jacking and robbery of cash in Delhi and eight cases of murder and six cases of robbery in Haryana. Haryana Police has also been informed about their arrest. DETAILS OF CASES OF DELHI: 1. About a year ago Sandeep @ Kala and others robbed a Santro car and rupees 2 Lacs at gun point near Aggrasain Collage from Sec. 24 Rohini, Delhi on 24.02.2011. A case vide FIR No. 36/11 U/s 382/34 IPC PS Begum Pur, Delhi is registered. 2. In April-2011 Sonu with his associates robbed a Wagon-R car from the area of Narela, Delhi. In this regard, a case is registered in PS Narela, Delhi. 3. One and a half month ago Sonu along with his associates Raju, Kala, Naresh @ Sethi and Boda R/o Karore robbed Rs 9 Lacs from Patrol Pump, Chawla Stand, Najafgarh. In this regard case FIR No. 22/12 dated 16.01.12 u/s 392/34 IPC, PS Najafgarh, Delhi is registered. 4. About 15 days ago, Raju along with his associates Jai Bhagwan @ Sonu, Bijender @ Boda, Sandeep @ Kala and Naresh Sethi robbed cash Rs.6 Lacs from Patrol Pump in the area of PS Begum Pur. In this regard a case is registered in PS Begum Pur, Delhi. 5. About 3-4 days ago, Sonu along with his associate Sandeep @ Kala, Naresh Sethi and Sunny robbed one Santro car No.DL8CAA-2942 near Bhor Garh, Narela at early morning on the gun point. DCP/Crime Sanjay Bhatia have apprehended two persons including a foreign national involved in trafficking of drugs and have recovered 16 Gms of Cocaine. Information was received on 09/03/2012 by SI Satyawan that a person involved in trafficking of drugs in Delhi would be coming in his Maruti Wagon-R car near Rajouri Garden, Delhi to deliver a consignment of drugs to his contact. On this information a Maruti Wagon-R car was intercepted and a person was apprehended. He was identified as Neeraj Chopra (aged 37 years) s/o Gurmeet Singh r/o Ramesh Nagar, New Kirti Nagar, New Delhi. 12 Gms of Cocaine was recovered from his possession. Subsequently Kelvin Ofune (aged 23 years) s/o Ofune r/o Egboro Delta State, Nigeria, Africa was apprehended from Rajouri Garden, Delhi. Four gms of cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered. Both the accused persons were subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that Neeraj Chopra has studied up to Middle School. In the year 1995 he came in contact with Kamaljeet a notorious pimp and indulged in flesh trade. He worked as driver for Kamaljeet. He disassociated Kamaljeet in 1998. In the year 2005 he was apprehended by NCB, R.K.Puram, New Delhi for consumption and supplying of Cocaine. He was found in possession of 10 Gms of Cocaine. He was also booked under MCOCA along with Kamaljeet. In the year 2011 Neeraj came out of jail and started trafficking in Cocaine in Delhi. Kelvin Ofune has studied up to Primary school in his native village. His family is in the business of sale and purchase of cattle. In the year 2008, Kelvin Ofune came to India on business Visa and tried to establish textile business in India but could not succeed. He went back to Nigeria. South-East District police has arrested a gang of notorious Bag Lifters namely (1) Vijay s/o Viragal r/o H. TEAM & INVESTIGATION Keeping in view the increasing incidents of bag lifting from the parked cars by breaking the window panes in South East District, a team comprising of SI Mahesh Yadav, HCs Jeet Singh and Satyendra Singh, Constables Sunil Kumar and Arun of Special Staff South-East District was constituted under the supervision of Akhilesh Yadav, Inspector, Special Staff, to develop intelligence about such gangs operating in the district. The team received some credible information regarding few criminals operating in Delhi & NCR. On 12.03.2012 at about 2.30 PM on the tip off a secret informer, the team apprehended the above mentioned accused persons in front of ICICI Bank, near Metro Station, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi while they were looking to commit such crime and for the disposal of stolen articles which were kept in their bags. On search of the bag being carried by the accused Vijay, two stolen laptops were recovered. Another bag carried by accused Muttu was also checked and three stolen laptops were recovered from his possession. On the cursory search of accused Chhagga and Suraj, two stolen mobile phones Nokia-E-63 and one wrist watch make Rado were recovered from their possession. On interrogation, they disclosed that the recovered laptops and the mobile phones were stolen by them by breaking the window panes of the cars from the area of Lajpat Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Shipra Sun City, Indirapuram, Hari Nagar and Kingsway Camp. DATED 13.03.2012 FIVE AUTOLIFTERS INCLUDING RECIEVER APPREHENDED: FOUR STOLEN VEHICLES RECOVERED Highlights: Alert police staff apprehended three Gangs of Auto lifters. Racket of Auto lifters & Kabaris unearthed, who used to dismantle the stolen vehicles & later on sell its parts. 4 stolen Motor/Cycles recovered. Auto thieves were auto mechanics by occupation and want quick bucks for additional money. The North East District police succeeded in major crackdown on the nefarious cartel of Auto lifters and Kabaris (Junk-dealers) who used to dismantle the stolen vehicles and later on sell their engines & spare parts. The police nabbed major players in the entire racket-namely the Auto-lifter who used to steal the vehicles and the Junkdealer (Kabari) who sold it in the market. TEAMS: Due to increasing incidents of MV Theft in North East District, a special drive is being carried out to apprehend the auto lifters. Regular checking of vehicles has been conducted by the way of establishing vehicle checking pickets and stranger checking in the area. Police staff in plain clothes has also been deployed for the same. Special dedicated teams at each PS level in North East District have been constituted to curb the crime and to nab criminals involved in crime by indulging in intensive picket checking, human and police intelligence and patrolling in the area. OPERATION:- In first incident of PS Karawal Nagar, a team comprising HC Sanjay and Ct. Gopal was deployed for picket duty near Chauhan Pur in the area of PS Karawal Nagar. During routine checking, two persons riding on one motor cycle were asked to stop for the purpose of checking. They tried to flee from the spot, but overpowered by the alert police staff. On verification, it was revealed that the said motorcycle bearing no. DL-5SAE-5203 had been stolen from the area of PS Khajuri Khas vide 74/12 u/s 379 IPC. The M/Cycle rider namely Mohd. Sajid & Mohd. Amir were booked accordingly. In one more incident of PS Karawal Nagar, during patrolling in the area, HC Virender Singh, Ct. Paltu Ram & Ct. One motor cycle bearing No. DL-7SAT-5122 stolen vide FIR No. 66/12 u/s 379 IPC PS Farsh Bazaar, East District, Delhi. On his further instance, one more motor cycle bearing No. DL-3SAB-0355 stolen vide FIR No. 102/10 u/s 379 IPC PS Kashmiri Gate, Delhi was recovered. On his instance, one receiver namely Javed was also arrested from the area of PS Nand Nagri. One motor cycle bearing No. UP-14AB-2772 stolen vide FIR No. 42/12 u/s 379 IPC PS Timar Pur, North District, Delhi was recovered from him. In third incident of PS Welcome, during patrolling in the area at Nala Road, Kabir Nagar, the team of HC Jai Prakash, Ct. Kuldeep & Ct. Umesh apprehended one auto lifter namely Imran. One Motor Cycle has been recovered from the possession of accused. Motor cycle bearing No. DL-8SAG-7499 was found stolen vide FIR No. 54/12 u/s 379 IPC PS New Usman Pur, Delhi. MODUS OPERANDI:Auto lifters namely Mohd. Sajid & Mohd. Amir are presently working in a leather purse manufacturing factory. As they were in need of money for the marriage of their relative, they stole the motor cycle of the employee of the factory, where they were working. Auto lifter Akram @ Ashu is basically a labour in a steel factory, but came in the business of auto lifting to earn additional bucks to meet his extra requirements and expenditures. His brother namely Imran is presently in Dasna Jail in a snatching case. In his examination, he spilled the beans and exposed the entire nexus in this shady business. He used to steal the vehicles and sold it to Javed, who is in the business of dismantling the stolen vehicles and then selling the various parts. RECOVERY: Five stolen motor cycles. He committed this crime for the accomplishment of money need for marriage. He is having 6 brothers & sisters. Akram @ Ashu s/o Aslam r/o B-1/24, Gali No. 20, New Mustafabad, Delhi aged 22 years. He is unmarried and working in a steel factory. He is having 3 brothers, grandmother and mother in his house and has studied upto 5th class. One of his brothers namely Imran has already jailed down in Dasna jail in a snatching case. Javed s/o Anish r/o O-179, Gali No. 3, Sunder Nagri, Delhi aged 20 years is a junk dealer (receiver) in a shop of Sunder Nagri. He is unmarried and studied upto 8th class. Imran s/o Tahmur Hussain r/o C-2/10, Gali No. 2, Kabir Nagar, Welcome, Delhi. He is unmarried and studied upto 10th class. He is in a profession of Handicraft with his father.
