NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY ALERT
There have been many recent daylight robberies of
pedestrians in this area at gunpoint.
The Police have dedicated extra resources and you can help.
If you are a Victim or a Witness:
 Remain calm; give the person your valuables.
 Pay close attention to the person’s appearance: any
distinguishing features and their direction of travel.
 If a car is involved: note make, color, license, vintage, and
direction of travel.
 Immediately call Police: this gives the police the best chance
of catching the robber.
 Clearly give your information to the police dispatcher.

General Safety Tips:
 Stay Alert! Always be aware of your surroundings.
 Stay Alert! Do not walk while looking at an electronic device, you
won’t notice the robber approaching.
 Call the Police if you see someone acting suspiciously.
