Presently working as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department at S.D.M.
College of Engg. and Tech. Dharwad since 2002 September.
Some of the Achievements:
 Involved in the Design and development of Diaphragm pressure switch with
Polyhydron (P) Ltd.Belgaum
 Guided for 8th semester students in Force and stress analysis of Excavator parts
for TELCON Dharwad.

Worked as lecturer in Mechanical Engg. Department at M.M. college of Engg.and Tech.
Belgaum from August 2001 to September 2002.
Some of the Achievements:
 Conducted seminar on carrier after B.E. degree for 8th semester students.
 Organized Blood donation camp in association with Cancer Hospital, Hubli.

Worked as Deputy Manager – Technical Services for Preci-Metcut Toolings Pvt. Ltd.,
Hubli from June 1997 to August 2000.
M/s Preci Metcut Toolings Pvt. Ltd. are manufacturers of Carbide rotating tools for CNC
applications.
Nature of Work Handled:
 Participation in the discussion for development of special tools to suit for
customer needs and thereby proposing better tooling solution, which involves
tool layout to working design of tool.

Participating during tool trials and establishing cycle time and tool life.
Some of the achievements:
 Developed and tried successfully with effective cycle time redn. For M/s Rane
TRW Steering Systems Ltd. Guduvenchery (Chennai) for 7 Lpm & 12 Lpm
pumps which are being used in power steering unit of automobiles.


Developed some of the combination tooling for M/s Mando Brakes System (I)
Ltd., Chennai.
Worked in R&D Department as Design Engineer for Precision Tooling Systems Ltd.,
Sattur, Dharwad for 1 year.
M/s Precision Tooling Systems Ltd., is a subsidiary unit of the Mysore Kirloskar Ltd.,
Yantrapur, Harihar are manufacturing class VI & VII gears for Kirloskar Group of
companies.
Nature of work exposed to:
 Process planning, cost estimation, design of Jigs & Fixtures on CAD.
Some of the Achievements:
 Developed special jaws for CNC turning machine for turning various types of
Gear blanks.


Was a team member in the development of infinitely variodrive gearbox project,
which completed successfully and the product being supplied to many
processing industries throughout India and abroad.
Worked as Trainee Engineer for Miven Mayfran Conveyors Pvt. Ltd., Hubli for 1 year.
Miven Mayfran Conveyors Pvt. Ltd., are in Collaboration with Mayfran Limburg B.V.
Holland and are manufacturers of Chip Conveyors, Coolant Filtration Systems and Mega
chips processors.
Nature of fields exposed during training period:
 Design, Production Planning, Scheduling, Inspection and Purchase.
Some of the achievements:
 Erected successfully Multi Conveyors for Tata Engineering and Locomotive
Company Ltd., Chinchawad, Pune for Walderich CNC Plano Milling Machine.

Erected successfully Coolant Filtration System along with magnetic chip
conveyor for Rane (Madras) Ltd. (Pinion Division) Pondichery.

Was a Member of ISO Co-ordinate Committee (In the preparation of Process
layout / Standardisation) Miven Mayfran Certified ISO 9002.
Area of research interest: Development of cracks due stress concentration in
Carbide while grinding.
