This means one resident must be 55 years old or older. The limit for children or grandchildren visiting, who are under 16 years of age is 8 weeks per year, per child. With a purchase of a home or villa you receive of $15 million in amenities with no up front costs or initiation fees. The homeowners association of which you become an automatic member owns all amenities in Timber Pines. All of our facilities and amenities are free to residents and are available to Timber Pines residents and their guests, only. At our Lodge clubhouse there are two (2) tennis courts that are lighted for evening play, shuffleboard courts, and a heated Olympic size pool, as well as a heated spa, both of which are open 24 hours a day. Our 18 hole Lakes Executive golf course, par 61, is free to our residents and has its own pro shop. Our 18 hole Hills Executive golf course, par 61, is free to our residents and has its own pro shop. Our Grand Pines Championship 18 hole golf course, par 72, has a fee of $10.00 (mornings) or $15.00 (afternoons) or $7.00 (after 3:00PM) per round. You may walk any of the golf courses, or rent a golf cart. You may use your own electric golf cart and pay a trail fee of $275 per year. Timber Pines has a nine (9) hole pitch and putt golf course around a lake. There is also a driving range and several practice greens. Beautiful!!! Near the country club location, we have six (6) lighted tennis courts. The courts have a soft surface that is kind to feet and legs. In our Lodge clubhouse or Recreation Building we have art classes, ballroom dance lessons, bridge, canasta, calligraphy, ceramics, china painting, chorus, country dance lessons, CPR classes, defensive driving classes, drawing, exercise classes, line dancing, mah jong, mammography, oil painting, open crafts, ping pong, pinochle, shuffleboard, square dancing, swimming, exercise, tap dancing, theater group, tai chi, and much more. W-O-W!!! There is also a travel desk, and a library. The billiard room has many pool tables. There is a full woodworking shop. Many residents enjoy making toys which are given away at Christmas to needy children. All of the roads are private so you may drive your own golf cart anywhere in the community. Timber Pines is a gated community with 24 hours of security. There are three (3) entrances/exits. At the private (residents only) Country Club of the Pines there is a large dining room that has superb cuisine at reasonable prices, and a lounge that also serves delicious food. The Recreation Building has a fully equipped health and fitness facility and there is a trainer who is available for private fitness instruction. There is a second Olympic size pool and heated spa located behind the Country Club. There is a performing arts center located next to the Country Club of the Pines. The theater will seat 850 people. The performing arts center hosts a variety of professional entertainers and amateur performers throughout the year.
