You can use the QR Codes provided to allow students to explore some famous Americans. (attached in Notebook file) 1 Materials: Teacher’s Name: School: You can use the pictures of famous Americans (attached in Notebook file) to randomly group students and assign an American for the group to research OR you can allow the groups to choose the American they will research. Groups research their famous American using World Book Online, EBSCO, Discovery Education and other teacher materials. Have groups choose one person to interview about their famous American and how that American has impacted his/her life. They can use the Interview Guide attached in the Notebook file. They must create the questions they will ask during the interview. Groups can use Movie Maker, Newsmaker, Animoto or Photo Story to create a video documentary about their famous American and the impact he/she made on our society. Groups will present their video to the class.
