General contractor for a substantial rehabilitation of a development under the Sound Insulation program which included the replacement of all windows, installation of heating and air conditioning units where none existed, roof replacement, replacement of sound insulated doors and installation of sound baffles. Responsible Managing officer for two separate general contractor companies. Performed and supervised substantial modernization/rehabilitation of multifamily developments. This included but was not limited to roofing systems, plumbing systems, electrical, etc. It also included the overseeing of other subcontractors. The estimate was upgraded after it was proved the damages were more extensive than originally estimated. ► ENTREPRENEUR Own two apartment buildings which were purchased in dilapidated condition and have managed to make them excelent profit making ventures after making extensive rehabilitaion work. Managed and maintained two conventional apartment buildings of 35 and 20 units each. Managed a successful commercial office cleaning business. Managed a two year building maintenance contract with the L.A. Job Corps. ► BUILDING MANAGER Managed 85 units of housing in six separate buildings designed for low income elderly persons under Section 8 program.
