The first phase of a long-awaited Math/Science complex is
scheduled to open in 2016. It
will feature state-of-the art
science labs, a large lecture
hall, up-to-date classrooms,
and the math tutoring center.
Once the first phase is complete, the second phase will
be to demolish the existing G8
and H8 buildings and replace
them with a single, two-story building which will house
Physics, Anthropology, Geology,
Geography, and GIS. Presently all the sciences and mathematics are housed in bungalows scattered around campus.
Needless to say, faculty are enthusiastically waiting for their
new home.
