You're invited to participate in the Play It Again Sports 2016 Winter Trade Show. From Wednesday
February 3rd through Sunday February 6th, the decision-makers from our system of nearly 350 stores
will be gathering in Phoenix, Arizona. The partnerships created and reinforced by our Trade Shows
have been crucial to our continued success.
Our goal is to facilitate a successful and exciting Trade Show. Providing outstanding opportunity buys
is one of the most important things any vendor can do to generate excitement and drive traffic to their
booth. Opportunity buys are the "foot in the door" that builds relationships which in turn lead to longterm continuity business.
The two best ways to communicate your opportunity buys to our franchisees are the Hot Show and our
Trade Show Specials book.
The Hot Show has become one of the most anticipated events at each Play It Again Sports
Conference. On the following pages, you will find detailed information about submitting items for the
Hot Show. Please take the time to carefully think through your submissions. If you have any
questions, please contact the appropriate category buyer.
The Trade Show Specials book gives you the opportunity to present your booth specials directly to our
franchisees. Our Trade Show Specials book is given to every franchisee when they pick up their
conference information packets at the registration desk; instructions for submitting Trade Show
Specials are on the following pages.

The Hot Show has become one of the most anticipated events at each Play It Again Sports Conference. The Hot
Show historically generates over $2 million in total sales for our participating vendors.
To submit Hot Show specials, please complete and return the enclosed "Hot Show Vendor Agreement" form.

Trade Show Specials
Trade Show Specials are key to having a successful and
exciting Trade Show. Outstanding opportunity buys are one of
the most important drawing cards in your show presentation.
To help you communicate your show special deals we create a
Trade Show Specials book which is distributed to every
attending franchisee. Trade Show Specials drive owners to
your booth and maximize your sales potential at the show.
Note: There is no "form" for Trade Show
Specials - upon approval by the buyers,
we simply reproduce what you send
(therefore, electronic is best).
If you wish to have your booth specials promoted in the Trade Show Specials book, please e-mail or mail them to
Kelly Schoenike in the Play It Again Sports Buying Group Office no later than January 15, 2016. Your
“Specials” must be submitted as final artwork. The booklet will be reproduced in black and white on standard
8 1/2” X 11” paper. No more than two pages per vendor.

Trade Show Directory Advertising
Increase your company's visibility!
As an invited vendor at the Play It Again Sports 2016 Winter Trade Show in Phoenix, you are eligible to advertise
in our 2016 Winter Trade Show Directory. This is another opportunity for your company to increase visibility to
the Play It Again Sports system. The Trade Show Directory has evolved into much more than a simple guide to
our Trade Show. When franchisees return to their stores, the Trade Show Directory becomes their primary
resource for up to date vendor contact information.
The most effective directory ads include key contacts, customer service phone numbers and key product
descriptions. Any information that helps educate our franchisees to better serve their customers and sell your
products should be included.
The cost of a FULL PAGE, 4-COLOR ad for an exhibiting vendor is $300.00. All ads must be submitted by
January 15, 2016 to meet printer’s final deadline. Your ad and payment (check made payable to Play It Again
Sports), must be sent to Becca Colling.
Unable to attend the show this time? You can still place an ad in our Trade Show Directory. Cost for an ad for a nonexhibiting vendor is $500.00. Please submit ad and payment as directed below.
PRINT PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS ARE LISTED BELOW (Please read and follow carefully):







Maximum page size is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” with no bleed or crop marks. Live image area is 5" x 8."
Vendor information on ad may include logo, booth # (we can supply this information to the printer if you
don't have it prior to providing your ad to the printer), announcements, etc.
All ads submitted must be Digital Media - no camera ready art.
A hard copy (preferably color) of the ad must accompany your artwork.
Any 4-color image must be Hi-Resolution.
Our printer can accept any graphics file created in Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop on CD or via E-Mail
(PDF preferred). Please include all necessary graphics files and fonts with your file.
Winmark Corporation reserves the right to approve all ads. If for any reason the ad does not meet
Winmark Corporation approval, your ad will be returned.
