4th Grade Book Projects Recipe for a GREAT book project: Choose a book of your own choice at y0ur reading level. Read the book. Consider what types of things you are good at and what your skills are. I have indicated which skills go along with each project o Written (W): is any project that involves mainly writing o Visual (V): is any two or three dimensional representation o Oral (O): is anything spoken or sung o Kinesthetic (K): is anything that primarily involves movement o Technology (T): is expressed via electronic communication Complete a quality book project from the list. Be creative and have fun! Practice your presentation at home with your family. Present your project confidently in class! Each of the projects has product criteria that you will be expected to meet at high standards. You will be graded based on our 1, 2, 3, 4 scale. Open up the packet and let the choosing begin! Be creative and have fun!!! T-Shirt Trivia Game (V and W) (W and O) A trivia game is all about remembering (often obscure) facts. Usually, a trivia game has a single theme or subject (sports, geography, movies, scientific discoveries, Revolutionary war, etc…) A question is written on one side of the card, along with a choice of answers, only one of which is correct. The correct answer is written on the back of the card. Trivia games have many of these cards, and players may keep track of right answers either by using paper and pencil or by moving pieces on a board. Make a personalized T-shirt by putting pictures, designs, sayings, slogans, or comments on a plain cotton or cotton-blend T-shirt. You can create your shirt by using either a computer generated iron-on transfer or fabric paints and markers. The front of the T-shirt should show a large visual of the main event in the book or the main characters.
