Dear Dr. Allen :
I'm a graduate student in Tongji university, China, planning to pursue a master degree on energy and environment field. After browsing the CEER website, I find my research experience of carbon controling matches your work on GHG emission project and feel interested in it.
Is there any master degree that the CEER could offer or any particular program that combines with the CEER closely?
Best wishes Roger Jiang

Dear professor H. Scott Matthews
Thanks for your time to read. I'm a master student majoring management science and engineering in Tongji U,China, with a civil engineering BS.
Now I planning to apply EESM program. I have some concorn, and quesions
1. Do I have the qualification to continue my further study in EESMprogram, since I haven't study any economic course before? if i dont.Do I have to get the credit of the economic course, or I can fit it up by auditing 1 or 2 course of microeconomics ?
2. Do you think a engineering and management backgroud without enviroment degree is a advantage or disadvantage to apply EESM?
3. Could you recommend some paper on Carbon economy or CDM?
I'm very appreciated if your could reply, and looking forward your letter. thank you again. yours sincerely

Your background is fine for EESM, even without economics
I do not work in the CDM area so can't suggest papers
