If the students want to study at SEM (School of
Economics and Management), they need to fulfill the
additional requirements of the school:
1. Academic Transcript from Home University:
- GPA 3.0 and above (full mark is 4)，corresponding to
3.75 of 5 in Tongji University
2. English Proficiency (choose one):
- TOEFL Paper-based 550, Computer-based 213/
Internet-based 79,
- GMAT 600,
- GRE 1250 (V+Q)
- IELST 6.5
The school doesn't accept DAAD language certificates.

- printed version of application form online (http://studyinfo.tongji.edu.cn/ );
- Short CV/Résumé;
- Letter of Motivation (very important! We will distribute the
students to different schools or colleges according to this
letter.);
- Letter of Recommendation;
- Request for Accommodation (attached, if necessary)
- Copy of Passport

Additional
information on
accommodation:
Normally yes. But in case of an over range of international
students, we may ask some of them to find an accommodation off
campus by themselves. We can provide some helpful information
if students need.
There are only double rooms in Siping Campus. In Jiading
Campus there are single rooms and double rooms to be
chosen.
Visa requirements:
After students got the admission letter, they can apply for
visa.
Work permit:
International students can apply for an internship after a half
year study at Tongji with the permission of the college.
