November 2012 PRIVREDNA BANKA BEOGRAD A.D. BEOGRAD Introduction Privredna Banka Beograd а.d. Beograd (hereinafter: Bank) has four decade long tradition of operating on the financial market of former Yugoslavia. It was established as a branch office of the Privredna Banka Sarajevo in 1972. Since 1978 the Bank was working as a legal entity –bank. It was founded under the name Privredna Banka Beograd a.d. Beograd in 1989 and in the past period it operated in compliance with the legislation. The Bank is registered to carry out banking operations: credit and deposit operations, foreign-exchange and exchange transactions, payment cards, issuance of securities, the issuance of guarantees, sureties and other forms of surety (guarantee business), payment transactions, mediation in the securities trade, and other activities in accordance with the Law on Banks Ownership structure As at 31.10.2012 the Bank had in total 5.706.666 ordinary shares owned by 2.171 shareholders. Nominal value amounts to RSD 620 per share. The stake of the Republic of Serbia is 64,80%. The Bank’s shares are traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange. As at 31.10.2012 the Bank had 381 members of staff with the following educational structure: Basic financial data As at 30.09.2012 the Bank held 24th place with the share of 1,03% in the banking sector of Serbia measured by total assets, 22nd place measured by total deposits of the banking sector with the share of 1,08% and 27th place measured by share in the total equity with 0,58%.
