Course Description:
Learn to make any residential decorating project easier using new software
applications products. In this course, you’ll gain computer skills to create
3D spaces, draw floor plans, arrange furniture, and decorate rooms with
ease.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
RPL (also known as PLAR – Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) is a
process in which individuals have the opportunity to obtain credit for college level
knowledge and skills gained outside the classroom and/or through other
educational programs. It is a process which documents and compares an
individual’s prior learning gained from prior education, work and life experiences

Students are expected to attend all classes (labs and lectures) and scheduled site
visits. Assigned readings and projects will be completed at home by the due date.

related magazines, books, product catalogues and web addresses.

By the end of this course of study, you should be able to....
- Navigate the 20/20 design environment;
- Draw walls, insert windows, doors, cabinets, appliances, accessories
and use Auto Fill application;
- Set up reusable designs and use design assistants;
- Introduce textures, materials and colours;
- Render in 3D and set up drawing layouts;
- Set prices and sales tax, materials lists and client reports.
