Draw a picture of you own. Write a sentence telling about it.

paintbrushes. Below each label them and write the color each
used.

author.
Introduction
1. Place a paintbrush and paints on the desk. Ask the child what
kind of picture they’d like to paint. Say, “Let’s read our story and
see what kind of picture they paint.
2. Paint or draw a simple picture and hang it up. Say, “I painted for
a long time on this picture. Do you like it? Let’s read our story
and see if they like what they painted.”
3. Have a toy boy, bear, and a bug on the desk. Ask child what
these three can do together. Let’s read our story and find out.
