Watch the video and complete the study questions as you go. You will need to pause a
lot; the video goes really fast. Also, complete the crossword puzzle.

I am a …
Research the medical field you have received and then become that person. Write a
biography of yourself using I within your writing since this is your story. Talk about
your education (where and how long) your salary, and what you do at your job on a typical
day. Remember, this is your story, make as good as you can, be creative! During the
movie presentations you will have the opportunity to share your information with the
rest of the class. You may even dress up and act out your job for extra credit.
Movie
Within your group you will create a 2-5 minute movie clip describing your given body
system. First and foremost, the movie clip needs to be entertaining, yet informative.
We will watch these later! The requirements are listed below:
 Two people must be in movie at some point
 Two or more props needed
 Demonstrate the functions of your given system
 Describe the organs within your system and their location (models help!)
 Describe one disease that affects this system
During Production include:
 An introduction slide
 Multiple transitions
 Display of special effects
 Anything else you want to try!
Schedule
Day 1
 Receive body system and medical field
 Begin researching body system and coming up with ideas for movie
Day 2
 All groups may start filming, especially Skeletal, Muscular, Integumentary, and
Nervous!
 Work on medical field paper, which may need to be finished at home.
Day 3
 Skeletal, Muscular, Integumentary, and Nervous system groups will be using
the iMac video computers; Skeletal and Muscular the first half, Integumentary
and Nervous the second half. When not on the Imac, work on the two labs.
 Circulatory and Respiratory will be working on the two labs
 Digestion and Excretion will begin with the Human Body: The Ultimate Machine
video and then work on the On Line activities.
Day 4
 Skeletal, Muscular, Integumentary, and Nervous system groups will be using
the iMac video computers; Skeletal and Muscular the first half, Integumentary
and Nervous the second half. This will be it unless another group does not need
as much time. When not on the Imac, work on the two labs.
 Digestion and Excretion will be working on the two labs.
