Egyptian Art Over Time
Ancient Egyptian civilization flourished for more than 3,00 years. It is one of the earliest and
greatest of world cultures. During this time, Egyptian records list thirty dynasties – families of
pharoahs – that ruled and reshaped Egypt. Scholars have organized these dynasties into major
periods of political and artistic achievement.
