PURPOSE To provide a comprehensive Human Resources Administration service for CPI, CPIIS and spin out companies, in support of the HR Department. 2. DIMENSIONS Approximately 200 employees and other contracts of employment. Two main sites plus smaller offices throughout the UK. Approximately £6 million annual salary costs 3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES To provide administrative support for the HR Officer in relation to the full employment cycle for all employment types, including, all contracts of employment with relevant correspondence, letters, emails and reports. To provide administration for absence management in relation to sickness, holidays and other absence reasons, to ensure that the correct absence process is followed, accurate information is recorded, filed, and updated for efficient data retrieval. To provide administration from start to finish for all recruitment campaigns. Work alongside Managers to ensure the recruitment process is followed. Liaise with external organisations for advertising while adhering to procurement and compliance procedures. Oversee that the Induction process is appropriately carried out for new employees. To be the guardian of the HR information systems to ensure that accurate information is recorded, filed, and updated for efficient data retrieval, on systems such as, the HR Database System, manual and computerised personnel records and other HR information systems, including HR folders, record logs, spreadsheets, etc. To provide administrative support for the Learning and Development Co-ordinator in relation to all company training and development. To provide accurate financial information to the Finance Department, for new starters, change in salary, bonuses, pension, leavers, and any other financial changes. To ensure that financial information is recorded on the financial spreadsheet. To provide administration in relation to CPI’s Service Providers, including Medical Providers, Pension Providers, and Occupational Health Providers. To ensure purchase orders are raised for HR services and HR related matters are accurately calculated and recorded. To provide administration support to CPI’s Spin Out Companies as appropriate. SKILLS The ideal job holder will have experience of HR administration, systems and processes within a science / manufacturing / commercial environment in an organisation comparable in size to CPI. The job holder will understand the confidentiality of the position and have the ability to use their initiative in any situation.
