First Pre-test Results
PRETESTING
Summary of Comments/Suggestions/Responses:
This was cleared already as I have my official logo & slogan
LOGO (while it is in the computer the color of the fish is green but when printed
its only blue or may be the ink in my printer lacks green but there is enough
green)
COLOR:
Blue is good but green must be added on the fish to make it
more realistic as a parrot fish this was based on the printed ones as
presented
Parrotfish (make the color combination more appealing with
green and blue)
Add spines/rays (dorsal fins) to be more fish looking
Also the prepectoral fin must be present
The bumphead is good very prominent, but the chin must be
lessen
The word Sapinitan Bay Fish Sanctuary must be included
(signifies ownership of the community), may be in place of the
sponge at the back of the fish
The blue sponge must be placed on the lower part of the chin
(a group of sponges)not near the mouth as it looks like it is a food for
the fish include in the group the one located at the back of the fish
The fisher is symbolic of fishing outside but can it be a bit
father from the symbolism of the fish sanctuary or the boat a bit
distant ?
SLOGAN:

GREAT all agreed and overwhelmed, no other suggested slogan

ALL OF THE ABOVE MESSAGES/TAGLINES WERE HUMBLY ACCEPTED BY ALL
RESPONDENTS. THEY WERE AMAZED ON ALL BUT MORE TICKLED ON NOS. 2, 3, 4
and 6… FISHERS WERE EXCITED ON NO. 2 as their brand and on No. 6 for boat
painting and posters.
The choice for the materials such as billboard, poster flyers where these messages
can be printed is hereby solicited from Rare which is the most appropriate
including for T-shirts, caps, fans, stickers, mugs, etc…
MASCOT
Agreed on the color green from lighter to darker green, can blue be included on the
edges…
Scarf be changed to a lighter color
They were impressed on the gadgets
LGU logo must be readable
Can scales be added? How true that it can be battery operated? No need for mascot
wearer?
OTHERS: Advise on the proper positioning of partners logo, suggestions for mural
painting….
MASCOT
It was baptized in the 2nd U as KING MOLLY
During the pretest these are the suggestions:
1. Molitan
2. Molipin
3. Tankongan
4. Tantan
5. TanKong
6. Finally the name of my MASCOT IS “SIR MOL” which means Siruma Momol (the local
name of the parrotfish)
I NOW HAVE AN APPROVED LOGO & SLOGAN
My mascot is here already and had his first public appearance during the
Grand Launching.
