Jill Solomon has been an instructor in the Marketing Department since 1998. She teaches courses in marketing management, international marketing, and promotions management. Solomon has chaired many honors theses projects and taught a major works/major issues class. Solomon holds a BA degree in sociology from Georgia Southern University and an MBA degree from USF. Before joining USF's faculty, Solomon worked in healthcare, education, and social services. She also volunteered extensively for the United Way and for public television in Tampa. Solomon coordinated the Marketing Department Round Table for seven years, a program of that brought together Tampa Bay community leaders and experts in marketing from all over North America. She is co-advisor to USF's student chapter of the American Marketing Association and a member of AMA. Along with her husband, Dr. Paul Solomon, she has led two study abroad trips, France in 2003 and Wales in 2011. An avid traveler, Solomon has been to 22 countries and 32 states so far.
