Charitable Activities
Established the following charitable units at village Shimulia, P.S.- Hossainpur,
Kishoreganj & Dhaka for the uplifting the condition at rural poor people :
a) A modern high school (Rafika-Moktader High School) housed in a modern 6
storied building with all modern facilities.
b) A women training institute to teach sewing with interest free capital so that
they became self reliant by selling their own products in the locality.
c) A village toilet programme under which toilet is provided to needy families on
soft term interest free loan.
d) A Friday Clinic with MBBS doctor & free medicine to provide medical facilities to
loacal villagers.
e) Old age support to a no. of families.
f) Tissue culture Centre at Shimulia for production of germ free high potency
potato seeds for local cultivators at reasonable price.
g) A training centre at Kanchpur, Dhaka to uplift the technical skill of technical
workers so that they may get overseas work at higher salary.
h) A manpower recruiting agency for sending workers to overseas countries at a
very low cost to be paid on “pay as you earn basis”.
i) Soft term interest free loan to local villagers for growing small business.
j) Distribution of catle to needy villagers on profit sharing basis.
k) A semi intensive fisheries named Gangatia Fisheries Ltd. intended to finance the
above projects.
