CV/RESUME Yalda started her education in Iran where she has studied architecture. She has worked as an architect for a London-Tehran based architecture office before moving to Europe to continue her education. From 2012 to 2014, she has studied European Urban Studies in Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Madrid. She has studied with students from different backgrounds, ranging from psychology to geography. During her studies, she has worked on a multitude of projects, always in multidisciplinary groups with her fellow students. Having lived and studied in different countries has given her a rather broad understanding of the urban condition. This multifaceted perspective together with her curiosity and voraciousness for reading is her best asset for urban design projects. She tries to adopt an ever more holistic approach to urban design and her interest covers a broad spectrum including bottom-up planning, community empowerment, urban informality, social sustainability, participatory planning and so on.
