MULTIDISCIPLINARY ALiCat Type search terms into the “Basic” or “Advanced” search screen boxes. Click the “More Limits” box on the bottom right side and choose “Spanish” from the “Language” field. ClasePeriodica Type “español” into the first search box and select “Language Phrase” in the box next to it. Type search terms into the second and/or third search boxes, and select other limiters if desired. EBSCOhost: Humanities Abstracts Type search terms and select “Spanish” from the “Language” menu. Handbook of Latin American Studies Online Choose the option “If you are outside the Library of Congress, click here to Search HLAS Online.” Click on “Español” in the upper left corner to change the search interface to Spanish. HAPI Click on “Search” in the left hand column. Type your search terms into the search boxes. In the “Limit by Language” area, check the box next to “Spanish.” JSTOR Journal Archive Click “Advanced Search” on the homepage. Type search terms into the search boxes. In the “Type” field, check “Articles.” In the “Language” pull-down menu, select “Spanish.” Optional: You may limit your search to the journal collection(s) most closely matched to the discipline you are reaching (e.g., Latin American Studies). PRISMA Select “Search Articles” from the left side search column. (Note: You can also click on “Versión en Español” at the bottom of the search column for a Spanish interface.) Fill out search field(s) and type “Spanish” into the “Language” field. Page 3 NEWS LexisNexis Academic Universe Click on the “Sources” tab at the upper left side of the opening screen. In the “Filter By” pull-down menu, choose either the name of a country or a continent. Choose the “News” folder from the list of publication types. Select the “Newspapers” folder from the list of publication choices. Check the box next to the newspaper title(s) that you want to search. The title(s) will appear in the “Selected Sources” box on the right side. (Note: you can perform additional searches and add those titles to your “Selected Sources” box for more results.) Click the red “OK – Continue” button on the right side when you are ready to begin your search. SCIENCES EBSCOhost: * CINAHL, GeoRef Type search terms and select “Spanish” from the “Language” menu. MEDLINE Type “Spanish” into the first search box and select “Language Phrase” in the box next to it. Type search terms into the second and/or third search boxes, and select other limiters if desired. PubMed.gov Click “Limits” near the top of the home page. Fill out searching criteria and select “Spanish” from the “Languages” menu. SOCIAL SCIENCES EBSCOhost: PsychINFO Type search terms and select “Spanish” from the “Language” menu. Sociological Abstracts Type “Spanish” into one of the search boxes and choose “Language, LA=” as the field. Or, scroll down to the “More options” section and type “Spanish” in the “Language” box.
