This summer Mr. Urmson will be running a theatre camp from: August 19th through August 23rd (Monday-­‐Friday) 9:00 AM-­‐ 2:00 PM The camp will consist of: • Physical and Vocal Warm-­‐ups •
Learn to make your voice work for you. •
Learn how to be calm, yet dynamic, in audition situations. •
Through script analysis, learn how to pace scenes, getting to the right place at the right dramatic moment. •
Develop the ability to work successfully in ensemble situations. •
Through improvisation, learn to explore your imagination. •
Through self-­‐exploration, become more aware of how you look, think, feel, imagine, move, talk, etc. •
Auditions on Friday for the Fall production of Godspell Jr. Camp Fee: Camp Registration fee for the week is $150. This fee will cover the cost of the rights to use the show Godspell Jr, instructional and operational costs for the camp itself, as well as costumes and sets for the show! Who can attend? GSC Performace summer camp is open to those between the ages of 11 and 16. Please send your camp registration fee in no later than July 19th; checks made payable to Good Shepherd Catholic School. Rehearsals for Godspell Jr. will be on Wednesdays and Saturdays in September through November; a more detailed rehearsal schedule will be given out after the show is casted!
