Information technology is one of the most exciting and
challenging fields today. Technological breakthroughs,
faster product life cycles, international competition
and increasingly specialized markets demand a new
generation of professionals who can integrate the latest
principles, methods and techniques of both technology
and IT management.
· Hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college or university.
· Meet one of the following two requirements:
1. A minimum score of 500 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in upper-division undergraduate courses. The GRE may also be considered.
2. A minimum of four years of work experience in the IT field and a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in upper- division undergraduate courses.
Since the MSIS program is very demanding,
preference is given to applicants who have MIS/CISrelated work experience or who have majored in CS,
MIS, or CIS.
