2015 GRADUATE STUDENT ESSAY PRIZE
We are seeking papers from graduate students
exploring themes related to Michigan’s past
SUBMITTED ESSAYS MUST:
include significant original research in primary sources
represent an addition to historical knowledge
not exceed 12,000 words, be double-spaced, and footnoted
not include author’s name in the manuscript itself
include a cover letter with: graduate school, program, and supervisor
WINNING ESSAYS WILL:
be judged on originality, research, style, and proper documentation
receive $500 upon announcement and an additional $500 at publication
