Humber College, School of Media Studies Training Course Outline Name: Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro Location: Humber College, North Campus th th Dates: Saturday‘s Oct.18 & 25 , 2014 Times: 9:30am to 4:30pm Instructor (Name & Bio): Paul is a bilingual writer/producer/editor in Video/Independent Film Production with over 20 years of experience. Some of Paul’s broadcast credits include editing episodes of "God's Greatest Hits" for Vision TV, an hour long documentary for Doc Zone on Radio Canada, and the French version of Season 1 of Artzooka for a French broadcaster. Other documentaries he has edited include two feature length documentaries, Karmageddon and Brilliant, both of which have won awards at international festivals. Paul has taught for over 15 years and was a part-time editing instructor at Ryerson University and Humber College. Course Outline: The goal of the course will be to use the tools of Premiere to be faster and more efficient editors. Basics of workflow, footage ingestion, and overview of editing tools will be combined with editing tips and techniques that can be applied to Premiere Pro.
