The initiative encompasses five metrics (one of which is related to eQuote). • The utilization support initiative has identified the following milestones for full agency eQuote utilization: Begin eQuote Rollout 50% Utilization Achieved (Full Utilization) 01/01/2013 3/31/2014 25% Utilization Achieved 10/31/2013 MFMP eQuote Overview Objectives Utilization Training Focus Group Discussion Wrap Up • eQuote is a function of the MFMP Sourcing application. Benefits include: – Capture and store agency documentation related to quotes in one location. – Functionality for vendors is generally the same for formal competitive solicitations and for informal quick quotes (eQuotes). – Consistency in requests sent from agencies to vendors. – Copy existing events to leverage previous agency work effort and knowledge. • eQuote is for competitive informal quoting: – For purchases less than $35,000 where the method of procurement is F. – For competitive quotes off state term contracts where the method of procurement is B. – For Lottery competitive quotes where the method of procurement is 16. Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Training Objectives Utilization Training Focus Group Discussion • To support utilization the MFMP team provided multiple eQuote training opportunities during 2013. – Training channels included: clinics, seminars, webinars, workshops, and online training. – Regional training was provided for agency customer and vendors in Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando area and Tampa during May. – A new online training course was published in May for vendors to learn eQuote. Provide several training channels for all types of learners. Training Overall I found the MyFloridaMarketPlace Training to be: Focus Group Discussion Vendors Agency Customers 23% Wrap Up 50% 38% 58% Excellent Good Neutral Fair Planned eQuote Improvements • CR 154 Objectives Utilization Training Focus Group Discussion Wrap Up – This change will allow eQuote users to integrate between MFMP Buyer and Sourcing eQuote. – Implementation is targeted for fall 2013. • eQuote training material – The MFMP team is considering a new manual or updating the existing Buyer manual for additional eQuote support. • Sourcing User and Groups Report – The MFMP team created a new secure report for customers to identify users and associated groups in Sourcing.
