Dear Parents/Carers,
Re: Year 10 science
I am writing to provide you with information regarding your child’s science assessments that will be
taking place over the next two terms.
A mock examination in all three sciences will be taking place in the week beginning 20th April 2015
and will consist of three 1 hour tests sat during science lessons.
For students studying the triple science pathway, the mock examinations will be on C2, P2 & B2.
For students studying the double science pathway, the mock will be the last formal run-through of
the public examinations the students are sitting this summer. They will be covering all C1, P1 & B1
content.
For students studying the single science pathway, the mock examinations will on C1, P1 & B1.

The exams will cover a range of questions from these topics so it is essential that revision continues
in tutor time and outside of school.
