20" LCD FAR-2117/2127/2137S
23" LCD FAR-2817/2827/2827W/2837S/2837SW
The revolutionary FAR-21x7 series and FAR-28x7 series of X- and S-band
radar are the result of FURUNO’s 50 years of experience in marine electronics
and advanced computer technology. This series of radar is designed to meet
the exacting standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
The 20" LCD FAR-21x7 series satisfies the SOLAS Chapter V for the ships
below 10,000 GT, and the 23" LCD FAR-28x7 series for all ships. The radar
can be connected to an Ethernet network for a variety of user requirements.
Each of X- and S-band radar can be interswitched without using extra
equipment. Up to four radar systems can be interconnected in the network.
GP-150/150-DUAL
NEW
Fully complies with the new GPS performance standards IMO Resolution MSC
112(73) and IEC 61108-1 Ed. 2 for SOLAS carriage requirements on and after 1 July
2003. The GP-150/150-DUAL provide SOG, COG, position, waypoints, etc., to ECDIS,
AIS, and other radio-navigation equipment. Receiver performance is improved by
Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM), which allows fault detection with
use of five satellites. With RAIM, the GP-150/150-DUAL indicates the integrity status in
Safe, Caution and Unsafe levels. The GP-150/150-DUAL provides a dual configuration
system either for a backup or remote operation to ensure system availability.

NEW
20" LCD FCR-2117/2127/2137S
23" LCD FCR-2817/2827/2837S/2827W/2837SW
Featuring total integration of ARPA Radar and ENC Display System, the FCR-21x7/28x7 displays
the radar images together with ENC at the same time. FURUNO Chart Radar FCR-21x7/28x7 series is
designed to meet the IEC 60936-3, a standard for radar with chart facilities. 20" LCD FCR-21x7 series
satisfies the SOLAS carriage requirements for the ships below 10,000 GT, and 23" LCD FCR-28x7
series for all ships. The Chart Radar can be integrated into FURUNO INS VOYAGER to offer
comprehensive route monitoring done both on ECDIS and Chart Radar screens.
Assists in berthing maneuvers of large or heavy vessels, where
large inertial forces leave no room for error. A laser gyro option
provides accurate measurement of the ship’s athwart speed at
stern without installing an aft transducer.
Doppler Speed Log
(Pair beam type)
Utilizes the pair-beam at 1 MHz sonic frequency, which ensures accuracy in rough weather.
Automatic Identification System
FA-150
DS-80
Employs a three-beam ultrasonic transmission system. It reduces
the effect of roll/pitch, which makes it easier to compile highly
accurate data, and enables the measurement of port-stbd speed
as well as fore-aft speed. Keel clearance information is provided
to warn of the reduced accuracy in shallow water navigation.
Navigational Echo Sounder
NEW
Fully complies with international regulations and standards (IMO, ITU-R, IEC, etc.,) and other
national class requirements. The FA-150 enhances the safety and efficiency in navigation by
automatically exchanging Ship’s ID, type of ship, position, speed, course, navigational status
and other safety-related information with other AIS-fitted vessels and onshore VTS control
stations within VHF coverage.
The FA-150 can be interfaced with Radar and ECDIS so that AIS symbols can be displayed
on the radar/ECDIS screen for intuitive comprehension of the vessel traffic around own ship.
FE-700
The 6.5" TFT screen displays digital depth with an analog
echogram. Detection range is automatically verified but there is
manual override to select the required scale. Depths, associated
time and position are stored for 24 hours on the memory. The data
can be played back at any time. Optional software is available to
transfer the sounding data to a PC for print-out.
