Lean Six Sigma Training
Yellow Belt Training Programme
Training Purpose
Our Foundation in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt aims to prepare participants to be effective team
members who support Black Belts and Green Belts in delivering projects with sustained improvements.
Sometimes project leaders are Black Belt and Green Belt candidates who are completing their first Six
Sigma project, and who may only have learned team-based Six Sigma tools such as FMEA some days
earlier. Not all Black Belts and Green Belts in training feel at ease running their first Six Sigma project
team meetings. They may feel uncomfortable explaining newly learned tools to the project team,
particularly where there are pressures on meeting attendees’ time which conflict with the objectives of
properly understanding the failure modes in the processes under review.
This training will address such issues and lay firm foundations for a successful Six Sigma deployment.
Training Objectives
Our Yellow Belt training is designed to ensure that when Black Belts or Green Belts meet to start their
projects, team members who are familiar with and have a good working knowledge of the Six Sigma
tool kit.
Who Should Attend?
The training is ideal for anyone likely to be directly involved as a member of the project team or who is
required to provide input during the early stages of a project.
Prerequisites
No previous Six Sigma experience is necessary. Delegates should be numerate and proficient in basic
Microsoft® Office.

Green Belt Training Programme
Training Purpose
Our Six Sigma Green Belt training consists of a mixture of teaching and practical exercises to aid and
reinforce tool usage. We place considerable emphasis during each training week on formal reporting of
project progress to colleagues and project champions. Detailed feedback is given in writing to Green
Belt candidates and management about Six Sigma tool usage and project progress.
In addition to advising on Lean Six Sigma project selection, we typically visit students on-site between
training weeks to provide one to one Six Sigma project and tool use advice.
Telephone and email project review advice is also provided during and after training to ensure the
projects are completed promptly, that the appropriate Lean Six Sigma tools have been properly applied
and that the Green Belt candidate achieves certified Green Belt status.
Training Objectives
Upon completion of the course delegates will be proficient in the use of all major Lean Six Sigma tools.
They will be able to apply the tools to live training projects aimed at delivering an improvement and
financial saving in their chosen process.

area.

What Our Clients Say
"I just wanted to say a personal thank you for the CI session last week. It was very effective and the
way you took us though it was very productive, there is so much I can take forward and use, much
more than any other Lean or Six Sigma training I’ve had before. It was obvious to me that you put a lot
of time and effort into the course and without that it wouldn't have been as rewarding as it was.
Again, thank you, I genuinely appreciate everything you taught me.’
Business Change Manager
‘The training has been invaluable in equipping the managers with the tools and techniques required to
enable them to identify and remove time wasting activities, which will reduce costs and release time to
improve customer focused activity. Everyone enjoyed the course and the Directorate are keen to
implement the new skill they have learnt.’
Associate Director
‘Thank you for guiding me through the training programme to final certification as a Lean Sigma Green
Belt – I look forward to receiving certificate.’
HR Practitioner
‘Many thanks for all your help and support in helping me to gain certification. I am extremely grateful for
all the encouragement and feedback, it was most appreciated.’
Supervisor
‘The tools that we were taught are really useful and the examples given throughout training help you to
think of where these can be applied in your day to day job.’
Administrative Assistant
‘The real life examples given by the trainers helped me to understand the C.I. toolkit. There were many
examples where they show ‘before and the after’ which proves that this does really work’.
Customer Care Supervisor
‘Just to advise that what we have put into practice following training is making things a lot easier to
manage. We can now focus more on delivering a better service’.
Call Handler
‘Applying the toolkit to saves an amazing amount of time, and allows us to concentrate our time
where it is truly needed.’
Accounts Supervisor
‘The trainers helped de-mystify all that is Lean. The sessions were fun and there were practical
examples of how the tools could be used’
