COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This program, with a practical focus on content and exam preparation will be led by Paul A. Anderson, CPCU, ARM, AIM. Paul has
served as past President of the Greater Detroit Chapter of CPCU and currently is RVP for Citizens Insurance. With a 25 year track record
in commercial insurance, Paul’s background includes experience on the agency and excess/surplus aspects of the business and has
successfully coached a number of students toward successful completion of the CPCU designation.
The prestigious CPCU program is recommended for experienced insurance personnel who have a good knowledge of insurance
practices and some formal study of insurance principles. The eight-part CPCU program covers a broad understanding of propertycasualty insurance in addition to the choice of a commercial or personal risk management and insurance concentration. To complete
educational requirements for the CPCU designation, students learn and prepare for national examination sequence.
