Stop Illegal Animal Hunting Now
Help Stop Animal Extinction
PERSUASIVE ESSAY
This amazing animal was hunted to
extinction and is one of America’s national
symbol.
Illegal animal hunting is an issue
that not only affects local communities, but the whole world. When
people hunt animals illegally, they are taking the risk of endangering that
animal. Most endangered animals are endangered because of people
hunting them. Animal hunting is one of the biggest reason why animals
are either extinct or endangered. This must me dealt with to prevent
anymore animals from becoming extinct.
The dodo, passenger pigeon, great auk, and the Steller’s sea cow
were hunted to extinction. Unsustainable hunting and fishing continue to
endanger many animals world-wide. In the United States, many of the
animals considered national symbols have been threatened by over
hunting. These animals include the bald eagle, grizzly bear, timber wolf,
American Bison, and the bighorn sheep. Many great animals have been
either hunted to extinction or until they are endangered. Some people
may say that they hunt for food, but it’s okay as long as you only hunt
what you need. The only thing you shouldn’t do is over hunt or hunt
endangered animals.
The laws on hunting weren’t too strict in the past, so more animals
were hunted to extinction. As time went by, the laws got stricter and
stricter. However, the laws are still not .strict enough. The law on animal
hunting should be made stronger by saying you are only allowed to hunt
if you need it for food. This will hopefully stop animals from becoming
endangered or extinct. Thirty-two year old, Charles, says he like to hunt
and does it as his hobby. However, if this is his hobby, instead of buying
meat at the store, hunt for your food and you could still have fun. The government can make an area for hunting animals. People
who like to hunt would go into that area and hunt animals. The area can
have different types of animals with many of their kind, such as the
common pigeon. Some people may say it’s still bad, but if there are
many of them, the place can have just a few dozen of each animal. Each
person can only kill a certain amount of animals, then they have to leave.
Permission can be five to ten dollars each,
depending on how much they want to
hunt. To rent a gun, it would be about five
to fifteen dollars depending on the gun
and how long they are renting it for. They
would also be allowed to bring their own
gun if they have a license to own and
shoot one.
Illegal animal hunting is a very serious and big issue that must be
stopped. This causes animals to become extinct or endangered.
Therefor, the laws on hunting should be made stricter. An area for hunt
animals with many of its kind would help the animals of the endangered
