Students may choose to take ACCT 203 in the place of ACCT 200 & 201. Credit will not be given
for both ACCT 200 and / or 201 and ACCT 203.
Grade Point Average Requirements after completing the Associate of Science in Business:
1. Students with an overall grade point average of 3.0 as well as a grade point average of 2.50 in
Business Courses will be eligible for transfer into the following Business degree programs at
Louisiana State University:
a. Bachelor of Science in Accounting
b. Bachelor of Science in Finance
c. Bachelor of Science in Management
d. Bachelor of Science in Marketing
2. Students with an overall grade point average of 2.50 as well as a grade point average of 2.00 in
Business Courses will be eligible for transfer into the following Business degree programs at
Louisiana State University:
a. Bachelor of Science in Economics
b. Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Finance
c. Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Decision Sciences
d. Bachelor of Science in General Business
3. “C’s” or higher are required in all business courses. “C’s” or higher are also required in ENGL 101
& 102 and MATH 101/110 & 201 and ECON 201 & 202.
