STC’s Accounting Program is a sequence of courses
that prepares students for careers in today's technologydriven workplaces. The skills students acquire in this
program help them to not only secure a job in
accounting, but to excel and advance in the field.
Students obtaining an accounting associates degree will
be able to enter the work force as accountants with the
skills necessary to handle an array of financial and
managerial accounting tasks, including maintaining a
set of books for business entities, including sole
proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, subsidiary
record accounting, fixed and intangible assets, and
many more.

Students obtaining an Accounting

Immediately upon
graduation, recent STC
graduates have made
between $8 and $12 per
hour.

Southeastern Technical College, a unit of the Technical
College System of Georgia, provides an innovative,
educational environment for student learning through

for southeastern Georgia. Southeastern Technical College
