STC’s Accounting Program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in today's technologydriven workplaces. The skills students acquire in this program help them to not only secure a job in accounting, but to excel and advance in the field. Students obtaining an accounting associates degree will be able to enter the work force as accountants with the skills necessary to handle an array of financial and managerial accounting tasks, including maintaining a set of books for business entities, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, subsidiary record accounting, fixed and intangible assets, and many more.
